Sustaining Creativity in the Wilderness: a retreat for worship leaders, curators and creatives

Come and join us for a weekend retreat . . .

Those who lead others in worship need to take time to sustain their creativity and be challenged with new experiences. This retreat is not about the mechanics of or about the different skills needed to lead worship, although no doubt that will find conversation, more a pilgrimage with other worship curators and creative pilgrims to reflect on what spiritual practices deepen a creative’s relationship with God. Yes, there will be good grub, plenty of time to walk on the beach, opportunity to swop ideas, hear a few talks, and even maybe sample a wee dram of Laphroaig to broaden and inspire creativity, but equally we will dig deep within to discern: “where does one find one’s synchronicity in role and soul; how is your wounded-ness a gift; how is soul-care though contemplative prayer discovered, where is blessing or belonging known……
