Glimpses of Light: Living with Loss and Bereavement

Come and join us for a one day retreat . . .

Loss and bereavement can change our lives forever.  Religious platitudes can often deny the desolation we feel and sometimes we can find few words to console or support us. It can be difficult to find the freedom and space to grieve in our own way, in our own time and to be assured that the emotions we experience are not unusual, frightening or extreme.

Drawing on the wisdom of the Celtic spiritual tradition, the words of Irish poet and mystic, John O’Donohue and the clear and beautiful music of the Reverie harp, played by Sally Cook let us gently accompany one another along the shadowed path. May we find glimpses of light along the way, so that the gradual healing of heart, mind and spirit may be ours.
