Welcome to the Order of Holy Cross in New Zealand.
We are a community of Benedictine Oblates comprising clergy and lay people who are associates of the international Order of Holy Cross. The Benedictine monks who comprise the order love and serve God by living according to the Rule of Saint Benedict
As associates of the Order of Holy Cross, we adapt the Rule to our lives, seeking to live according to its principles and values.
We support each other through prayer, conversation and an annual retreat. We maintain connections with the Order in other parts of the world.
We would describe our theology as liberal catholic, and our community is diverse and welcoming. Please enjoy learning more about us - perhaps you will even feel drawn to join us.
